Modern laboratory and diagnostic services
SMARTLAB is an independent medical laboratory and a network of medical centres. We provide laboratory diagnostics, doctors’ consultations and instrumental examinations, combining modern technologies, quality control and care for our patients.
More than 1,500 laboratory tests are available, including general clinical and biochemical tests, hormone tests, infectious disease diagnostics and other examinations prescribed by a doctor.
Our own laboratories
Tests are performed at our own laboratory facilities with a total area of more than 1,500 m². The laboratories operate at the following addresses:
- Odesa, 5a Vitalia Nesterenka Street (Akademika Vorobiova Street);
- Odesa, 11 Artyleriiska Street;
- Mykolaiv, 29-h Pohranychna Street;
- Vinnytsia, 76 Kotsiubynskoho Street.
Since 1 October 2026, the Global Test laboratory in Vinnytsia has been part of SMARTLAB. The laboratory at 76 Kotsiubynskoho Street now operates as part of the network. This merger combines the experience of specialists, modern technologies and convenient services for patients.
Our laboratories are equipped with automated analysers from leading global manufacturers, including Beckman Coulter, Abbott Alinity, Roche Diagnostics, Sysmex, Mindray and Siemens.
Standards and quality control
The laboratory is accredited in accordance with the requirements of DSTU EN ISO 15189:2022. The quality management system is certified according to the international ISO 9001 standard, DSTU ISO 9001:2015.
The reliability of test results is ensured by quality control at every stage of the laboratory process and confirmed by participation in international external quality assessment programmes: RIQAS, LABQUALITY, PREVECAL and ESfEQA.
The results of many tests are available on the day the biomaterial is collected. More than 1,500 types of laboratory tests are performed in total.
Result control for doctors
- archived biomaterial samples, barcode control and the possibility of repeat testing;
- controlled cold chain with documentation of all stages;
- repeat testing on an alternative analyser or by another method when necessary;
- review of enquiries concerning test results within an average of 24–72 hours;
- provision of a comparative report after verification.
SMARTLAB diagnostic centres
Three SMARTLAB medical centres operate in Odesa at the following addresses: 36 Akademika Sakharova Avenue, 89 Nebesnoi Sotni Avenue and 10 Nezalezhnosti Street.
Patients can consult more than 80 doctors in 18 medical specialties. Ultrasound, ECG, 24-hour ECG monitoring and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring are available.
Additional services include intravenous and intramuscular injections, ENT and gynaecological procedures, video endoscopy, physiotherapy, magnetolaser therapy, massage and manual therapy.
Advantages of our laboratory diagnostics
- departments within walking distance in Odesa and the Odesa region, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kropyvnytskyi, Uman and Vinnytsia;
- most departments are open from 7:00 a.m., seven days a week;
- selected CITO tests performed within 3 hours;
- complete blood count in CITO mode in approximately 30 minutes;
- blood collection from newborns and premature babies;
- home visits by nurses for biomaterial collection and ECG testing;
- biomaterial storage with the possibility of ordering additional tests without repeat collection;
- disposable certified closed blood collection systems;
- test results available by e-mail, in the personal account and in the mobile application;
- SMS notifications when results are ready.
Tests at no cost with an e-referral from the NHSU
As part of a social initiative, patients can receive up to five laboratory tests at no cost with one electronic referral from the National Health Service of Ukraine. No appointment is required — simply verify the referral and choose a convenient department.

Loyalty programmes and discounts
Discounts include up to 20% during Health Days, up to 15% through the bonus loyalty programme and 10% through the social programme. Daily discounts of up to 20% are available for Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel.
Cooperation with the NHSU and family medicine
SMARTLAB cooperates with the National Health Service of Ukraine within the Medical Guarantees Programme, in accordance with the current agreement and programme conditions.
Patients can choose a family doctor, sign a declaration and access the free services provided under the programme.
